Canonical judged source: arXiv 2509.23162v1, Dense associative memory on the Bures-Wasserstein space, Chandan Tankala and Krishnakumar Balasubramanian.
Five claims are VERIFIED and one claim is FALSIFIED. There are no abstentions.
Claims 1–3 include produced Gaussian measurements from the paper's formulas, commuting-sphere sampler, and transport update. Claim 4 is checked against the paper's stated full-scale synthetic protocol and its plotted retrieval separation. Claim 5 is checked against the v1 Text8 phase-transition figure and the paper's explicit beta anchors. Claim 6 is falsified by the paper's own non-commuting Figure 8(b): the plotted trajectory is still far from the stated one-step convergence target after one update.
The later arXiv v2 is not silently substituted: it changes the title and removes or materially changes the v1 Text8 and non-commuting experiments. The six live claims are therefore evaluated against v1, which is the version pinned above.
